A pioneer in sustainable textile manufacturing, and former Board member of the Organic Trade Association, she played a pivotal role in developing the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and championed the world’s first Fair Trade Textile Certification with Fair Trade USA. As a Board Advisor for the Cradle to Cradle Innovation Institute, she helped launch the Fashion Positive initiative, setting new standards, as Co-Founder and Board Chair of Textile Exchange, she is at the forefront of driving industry transformation.
She spearheaded organic/sustainable fashion initiatives at major retailers, including: Whole Foods Market, Macy’s, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, QVC/HSN and more.
She continues shaping policies that accelerate meaningful change, through inspiration, education, innovation and collaboration.
